is audioslave worth seeing live?

No they don't play and RATM songs nor Soundgarden that I know of. A buddy of mine went and saw them (he's not into them). He said they did a really good show. They had fun, but the mosh pit is pretty much absent. They are a rock band. :Spin:

He also somehow got passed security after the show and actually meet Tom back stage. Tom was a surprised, but pretty cool from what I was told.

I saw them at the Tabernacle in Atlanta, which is my favorite venue. They were amazing, they play no Soundgarden or Rage covers, but did play a Rush song & Cornell did an Elvis Costello song acoustic (which may be on his solo cd, not sure). I have been to many concerts, but this was the best damnconcert I have ever seen, which covers a decent amount of ground. They played with the energy of a brand new band, playing on a bigger stage than they are used to, but with all of the talent that they possess and a cohesiveness that many are not giving them credit for. They played there asses off, it was just perfectly put together, & the crowd was sold out & crazy. B
I was skeptical about the band when I had only heard Cochise on the radio, but a buddy bought the album the day it came out, played it for me, & I was hooked. Many are saying, "They just sound like Rage & Soundgarden, nothing new," & so on, but I disagree, & the new songs (not on the lp) that they are playing are damn good. Metal(only)heads may say otherwise, but this is a damn good Rock & Roll band.
Check em out, sorry if you missed the smaller venue debut tour.
I wish everyone that has passed judgement on this band could see them live.
& I wish someone would bring Anthrax to the Southeast!!! Last time was when I was in 8th grade (Sound of White Noise tour), we had to leave at Midnite, heard about 4-5 songs. I am 24 now, do the math, bring 'em back. Maiden never comes down here, so I am not holding out TOO much hope for that tour, but Man! it would rule! lata

I bought the Audioslave cd when it first came out. It rocks, but I dunno, I always turn it off when I get to about track 7 or 8. It doesnt grab me like I wish it does. I'd love to see them live though. RATM were awesome in concert.
