Depends on what kind of a tone you're going for man. That sounds fine to me though.

it really depends what purpose youre going to be using this for? i mean, would this be the sort of tone that you would hope to use in a mix? because if it is, right now there is a fair bit wrong with it.

how did you record this sound? did you just stick some random distortion on a clean guitar file?

if you are hoping to use a DI guitar for an actual recording, i can give you some details on how to improve the sound, coz you will need to use things such as impulses etc.

well right now im trying to find a smooth tone without so much fizz in it, i just turned on a fair bit of distortion about 6 on my line 6 spider, supposibly has a built in pod so i just sent used my digitechs soundcard and and recorded from there. not sure on how to go on about equ'ing tho but if you think you can help me or tell me on how i can improve im all years.
