Is it worth to invest in a good woodfloor for a 12m2 recording room?

Hey mates!! Next month I will start to build my new studio and I´m not sure about the ideal floor material for the recording room. Some of you has told me that maybe some oak or ash floor, but know I realize that maybe the room is so small to put such a brighty floor. (4,7x2,8x2,2 LWH)
My first choice was laminated floor, cheap and woody, but some of you told me it has no sound properties. So, I hope some of you can shed some light....

I've decided to try Bamboo or Cork when I get around to building. For some reason it appeals to me, it's fairly inexpensive, and it looks sweet.
