Russ isn't my new obsession. I've been into SX for years. Russ does favor Elvis unfortunately. in fact, he favors Vince a little as well, but I think he carries it a little better than either of those two. Can't say if Russ is a good pinball player or not. I'll be sure to ask him at PPVI. SX plays all even years. Allen walking on the moon would certainly give the band some new material for another epic similar to "The Odyssee." As far as Russell being the next Ronnie..... as much as I like Russ, that's not going to happen. I wouldn't say Ronnie is/was even "better" than Russ, but Ronnie has the distinction of being "the voice of metal" in my ears.
Iced earth would be even more clueless about what to do with Russ's talant than Romeo is, so I hope he doesn't go to Iced earth. Jim Morrisson was a retard. Russ seems to be fairly bright. This is indeed a thread about Russ and it is pretty dumb, so you win the prize.... Russ actually does play some air guitaron stage, but he is knowhere near "championship" material.
Indeed Russ is a vocal God when Romeo chooses to make music to his strength. My post was probably supposed to be along those lines, but also I was listening to "The Odyssee" (the song) the other night and it dawned on my that he reminds me of a metal version of Paul Rogers on that song quite a bit in fact. It may have been is Russ the next Paul Rogers ?

Ha ha ha stylistically, I don't think Russ and Bad Co. are quite a match, but I was very serious about him sounding very much like Paul Rogers in that song. I can almost picture Paul singing the first vocal lines in "The Odyssee." In parts.... it's almost spooky because if I didn't know any better I would swear it was Paul Rogers. I wonder if it was done on purpose ?
