I saw a Angra DVD on the end records website. For those who have it, is it any good? How's the production? How does Edu sound? Song selection etc??

Thanx in advance!

Dusty

It is an excellent DVD, and I would recommend any Angra fan buy it.

I'll second that recomendation. If you don't have Temple of Shadows already, you can get a limited edition version with the same DVD as a bonus disc.

I'll offer a contrary opinion: I think the DVD it terrible, especially if you have a decent home theater system. The picture is grainy, and the sound is truly awful - one of the worst sounding concert DVDs I've ever heard. It's worth getting as a bonus with the ToS disc, but I wouldn't buy it on its own if I were you.

I too picked it up as a bonus disc for "Temple of Shadows" (which is absolutely freakin' terrific, btw). I enjoyed it. The sound and picture are fine as far as I'm concerned. Seeing them live, I have a new-found appreciation for Kiko Loureiro. Some of his tapping and sweep-picking lines are as much a joy to watch as to hear. Good stuff.

Only complaint: the DVD is obviously touched up at places.
