Is the New Jersey Metal Meltdown finished?

I just checked metalfest.com and noticed they are advertising for next years Milwaukee fest. What happened to the New Jersey fest? Any one know?

That's true, but they usually start advertising for the next metal fest after the current one is finished.

I heard the same thing (not from Grohl), but I also heard that they move it to Florida.

I would prefer only one festival no matter where in the US so they can properly prepare for it so it isn't as much of a clusterfuck.

I received an email from Jack Koshick saying that they are looking for a new venue in NJ.

Really? I can't imagine where...there aren't very many great places to play here.

I've never been to one of those festivals, but from what I've read of them, is it really worth the time and money? They have a few good bands and a bunch of shitty ones, and you have to run all over the place to get from one set to another. I read that one year they would have two bands playing in basically the same room, separated by a curtain. You just can't enjoy something like that.
