Is Undead worth $5.00?

wow, thanks for the head's up! I was planning to oreder it from The End Records as soon as they received their stock of Therion's new releases: Lemuria/Sirius B. I may need to go ahead and place the order at that price though, and not wait.

By the way, if you've never heard Therion, and you're a fan of great power metal tempered with classical arrangement, Therion cannot be beat.

I also noticed U.D.O. has a new one(?) called Thunderball. The End has it in limited edition digipack for those interested. I know I AM!!!

If you haven't used The End Records yet (and you're in the U.S.), do yourself a favor and hook up with them. I've never been disappointed with their fast and friendly service. And they have the best prices that I could find on the net. Damn fine outfit.

Careful ordering Digi-Paks from them. I had to ship back my first copy of Iced Earth's Glorious Burden because you could just hear the broken plastic pieces shaking around inside.

I've gotten a few broken hubs in jewel cases too, but those can be replaced at least.

I also had to return my first copy of the Glorious Burden, but not for that reason. They sent me the standard U.S. release when I had ordered the Extended Digipak version. They exchanged it without a problem.

Their packaging has always been very good, but I typically order more then one cd at a time, so they use bigger and better-padded material.

What impressed me was that I was sent a promo (U.D.O.'s live one) with my very first order through The End Records. Of course I spent over 120 bucks at that time, so it was probably a gift for spending so much at once. But I thought it was cool.

I placed my order earlier for Undead, along with the aforementioned U.D.O., Mercenary, and Wuthering Heights. All good stuff I do believe. And I will be ordering the Therion next week, along with a couple more copies of Undead for friends as gifts. :Spin:
41 bucks for four cd's, two of which are limited edition digipacks; and one of those is a double cd. Pretty damn sweet if you ask me.

The new U.D.O. cd isn't great but it's pretty good. The production is good, the gang vocals are quite Acceptish and though there is some cdheesy moments, it's a pretty well written CD. I like it.

Another Wuthering Heights fan!?
"Far from the Madding Crowd" is my favorite release of 2003 so far. So fresh and creative!

I also like the new UDO, even if it could have been better.

Matters is a little better but Modus just jumped through the stratosphere of cool. :} 'tis my opinion. Undead is most definitely an excellent album though, Where The Sun Never Shines is classic, imho.

my thoughts exactly. Good overview, WR. :D

OK, I listened to it twice today. Its good, but not as good as M.O.T.D. or M.V. I think.

Ha ha ha I bet it was more than worth 5 bucks though huh ? I am finding that MV is slowly catching up to MotD, but any band that releases two CDs of those quality deserves kudos. Both of those CDs kick my ass.

My Undead showed up today. I have not listened to it yet. Once again the CD looks just like the other two, just slightly different symbol color.

Hey if I get a signed setlist this year from TM, you just get a copy this time buddy. :err:
