Anyway, does anyone know what they used for the guitars? The production on this album is amazing.

Boss RV-3 Seriously though, they use that damn pedal on EVERYTHING. Overall though, I haven't been impressed with this album yet. It sounds exactly like the last one, and I wasn't even a big fan of that one either. Production is good - but very typical for ISIS.

Having listened to this even more, I've decided I'm not digging the production as much on this.

Aside from the obvious clipping, the drum kit kinda seeps into the atmosphere of everything else, where on the other records, the atmosphere of the bass guitar and vocals was one part and then the drums sounded like they were in a small room kinda behind everything else which I have to say I digged way more.

Yeah.. thats true.. Isis and Matt Bayles have been one for such a long time that he kinda grew on them soundwise.

Maybe it's just the rip I have, but there's some really fucking harsh clipping at a few of the heavier parts, and its rather unpleasant D:
