Sorry if this has been covered before, just going back lately over some of my more recent favorite bands. With Candlemass unfortunately exiting the epic doom scene now with their farewell album, IMO one has to look no further than Sweden to find a worthy replacement. Probably best described as a very refined CM sound with bits of My Dying Bride as well. I seem to really get into these type bands more as time goes on. Still like power and prog metal too, but maybe this is my dark and guilty pleasure. Your thoughts?

I believe I made a thread about these guys a couple of months ago, but nonethless they are one of my favourite modern day doom bands, they have hints of progressiveness and traditional doom kickassery.
