It may be silly for a (supposedly)full grown man to admit this but.........

I worship the ground Victor Wooten walks on!

I just downloaded one of his live solos from Gnucleus, and the man simply kicks ass. Born to groove. Damn, it's hard to dink around with my bass after hearing things like that.

P.S. I also downloded a few Yngwie songs too. Haven't heard them in years. The guy seems like a real jerk, but he really put out some awesome stuff back then!

CHEERS!

Hey Eddie.
Have you had the chance to listen to:
Bass Extremes, featuring Steve Bailey and Victor Wooton?

The cd features 8 songs along with 9 lessons and comes with the music book.

Realesed by CCP Balwin Inc. 1993

You have to get your hands on this. If I knew how to send you the tracks I would. Steve playes his 6 string while Victor hammers out quite the solo's.
Victor has his bass tuned to: A D G C

Let me know if you want me to mail you the cd?
This is a must have for us bass players.

take care
Constantine:)
