It took me a bit but Redemption...

finally clicked with me. I picked up the new cd today!

I think the new Redemption and threshold cds will be in my cd player along side the new machine head for awhile!

I'm still waiting for the click in regards to Redemption. It's been three albums now .. no click. I'm definately in the minority .. most people rave about them. Maybe the live setting will be the thing that finally makes things click for me .. who knows?

They were awesome the other night in Santa Clara Nick and his band of misfits have come a long way in short time! I've got the new one coming in the mail.... Can't wait to get it and I can't wait for ROCKTOBER!!

It is a great CD. It took me a spin or two to totally get into it because I so much had TFOT on my mind. At the end of the day I would still give TFOT the edge if even slightly. It is however a stellar album and Ray sounds awesome on it.

I'm in the same boat. The S/T album's vocal mix was terrible, IMO, and that turned me off almost for good. But I decided to listen to other aspects of the album. There are some gems on "The Fullness of Time". I think, however, they will grow on me once I see them LIVE. I skipped them the last time at PP (probably for autographs), but plan to watch their set in full this time around.
