that this forum is so empty. The Smell of Rain is really an under-appreciated album by many. Hopefully the new Mortiis album due sometime later this year will shake loose some of the cobwebs strewn around here:Spin:

I hear ya. I really liked The Smell Of Rain quite a bit. I still listen to it now and again. I can't wait for the new one!!!

I was one of the few I knew that liked it but I still stand by it. Hopefully this forum picks up again as new of the new album starts spreading!

I like The Stargate as well. Some of his other stuff got a little redundant but it's cool to relax to.

I quite like some of Mortiis's older recordings, for instance "Keiser Av En Dimensjon Ukjent". I haven't heard too much of "The Smell Of Rain", so I'll have to check it out soon I guess.

I liked The Smell Of Rain right away. I downloaded a few samples and then couldn't wait to get my hands on it. I had enogh atmospheric stuff at the time and really didn't want any more so Rain was a cool break. I still stand by the album.

Mortiis was on a gig here last year ( or was it two years back )..
The gig was SO awesome. Something I didn´t expect at all!! It was much more massive than the cd..
I hope to hear new stuff soon.
