ITT: i am sitting around wasting my week vacation doing not a damn thing

i'm in a rut.

in honor of your vacation, I just ate a bag of Snyders Coney Island hot dog and mustard flavored potato chips.

I'm almost into the leave category where I'll accrue eight hours of annual leave every two weeks, which means I have to take the equivalent of a day off every two week pay period! somehow, although I'm not complaining, it almost seems like too much.

well obviously I'm not complaining but I have no real significant income, so its not like I can take a serious vacation as in going somewhere...

I also have 1400 hours of sick leave saved up.

yeah i have well over a thousand sick hours, which i'll never use, and never get paid for.

I love veg vacations, those are the best.

Just buy a lot of beer and a carton of smokes and lounge it.

haha after i posted that i realised that i had overlooked the obvious meaning! i meant that he has been on a vacation from vegetables.

he DID have a veg vacation for about eight months when we first moved in in 2001. he just mooched money from his mom and borrowed some from me and temped here and there when he came up short.

i totally watched oprah yesterday.

when i was home unemployed for about two months in 2001 i ended up watching the people's court EVERY DAY.

i can't stand those court shows. but i do have an affinity for weird religious shows and julia child biographies.
