But mention "Dead Parrot" and they'll look at you like your head fell off.

Most of the people I've tried to watch Python with laugh at all the non-funny parts.

Well I think humour is subjective, so if they find it funny by my definition it is funny.

No no. The typical chuckle-laugh-repeat said line-chuckle again...I tried to watch it with a few friends one time a while back and they just didn't understand.

The difference between British and American humor can clearly be seen when you compare both versions of "The Office". The American version is god-awful slapstick.

Monty Python, Are You Being Served, etc. have their moments, but i guess i wouldnt consider myself a big fan of 'british humour'

Hot Fuzz is probably the funniest 'british' thing i can think of, i was gasping for air from laughing in the theatre (Shaun of the Dead also rules).

Hot Fuzz IS one great piece of work. That movie is friggin' hilarious.

I actually prefer the American version of the Office, so I guess that tosses it all up in the air.

The team that does Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz are pretty immense, gotta love those movies.
