ITT you give the dick some Vinterland

This sounds great and of course it's impossible to find. I assume it was only released on cd?

i don't really worship him or even like many of the bands he recorded that much, and he wasn't and arguably isn't a very good producer/engineer in all circumstances anyhow. I love his songwriting and many of his own bands more than anything else.

i think he did a great job on the Opeth and Dissection albums, i can't even remember what else he recorded. as for Diabolical Masquerade, his involvment on Death's Design was greater than you seem to be aware, but the older albums are better anyways so who cares really?

i agree with you completely on Crimson II, the sound is shit and it baffles me why he HATE HATE HATES anything analog. i used to talk to him by email for a while, and he is a very nice guy, very open and honest, friendly, and good with sharing information about all his musical endeavours. he skills as a producer were good but he admits he overextended his influence at times and ended up fucking over a lot of projects. this led to his withdrawal from recording other bands for a while.

his digital recording obsession may be the end of my appreciation for him as a musician, but god damn has the guy done/been around other bands who have done some great things in the past.

i wouldn't mind but i'm too lazy to update my trade list so feel free to go dig it out of the trade thread if you care enough - no pressure though.

I listened to this all of the way through last night while under the influence. Definitely an awesome album that is in the style I love most! It's rare that you come across something just like this. It's like a more melodic Dissection without the thrash/death and suparevill-soulcrushing atmosphere (because it has its own).
