Hello,

I hope you have the time to answer these few questions about my new musical love, Vinterland. There doesen't seem to be any webpage about Vinterland, or them i'm just too stupid to find it, if the is, please give me the url and accept my apologies about useless post.

So, Vinterland only made one album and the story is quite unclear. Is there any story behind Vinterland? Why was the band made up at the first place? Who wrote the songs and lyrics? If it was someone else than you, i'd like all the information about him you can provide, bands/projects and things like that. And why was the band disbanded after only one record? I bet the reviews and such were praising that album! Thanks alot for the hard work you have done for us and keep up the good work!

Sincerely,

Infernium, a huge fan of yours.

Hi..

I recorded this album for No fashion. It was three guys from the Strängnäs/Eskiltuna area. It was clearly a 'trend-jump' from No fashion..that melodic black was really selling at that moment. I was never a bigger a fan of theirs...it was OK, but the musicianship wasn't really that great...I don't know more about them....sorry

Dan

I like that album very much, and the production is great too for that really cold feeling... For once, trigged drums actually work, hehe.

What little info I have on this very obscure band: One or two members is now in thrash band Maze of Torment. They released two demo tapes before the CD which are more or less impossible to find...

Oh my god, a thread about Vinterland! :)
I've declared their cd "Welcome to my last chapter" to be the very best album in my collection. I can't describe the might of this cd, it's just wonderful.

The booklet is so full of bad spelling that it is embarrassing to read it. Thankfully they didn't print the full lyrics. But the music is great.
