so i'm doing this long bike marathon tomorrow and going to have my ipod in my backpack out of reach of my hands. i've tried it and it made it sound weird before but it was a while ago and i could have been bugging. apple states all it does it just adjust volumes so that tracks don't sound overly different.
i've googled it and many like normal consumer forum people generally say its ok but i don't trust non audio professionals so i was wondering if anyone has used it. as per apple it's not like the sound enchancer or eq, it's not supposed to do anything like that just normalize volume so in my playlist i have like led zeppelin and then also stuff from today that is much louder. i don't want to not hear the oldies and i don't want newer stuff to destroy my ears either so was hoping the soundcheck works.
any opinions or experience feedback is greatly appreciated.
