I've been looking around for a decent place to converse about metal and I think this place will fit me like a glove.
I've always been an old school metal head, mostly thrash like Pantera, older Megadeth and some industrial like Ministry. I don't really dig this nu mainstream stuff, I do however like Static-X, not for their music, I just think Wayne Static has a bad ass voice.
Anyway, one day last month I got tired of sulking every time I turned on the radio and I went online and learned that metal still does exist. I guess that is really the biggest reason why I joined is to be shown a new light.
