If anyone cares. I'm finally getting off my ass and starting to get something new done. A version similar to this (this one is pretty rough) will go on my next little album entiled The Dreamer that will hopefully be complete early next year. The Dreamer will include fully produced versions of each song (including this one with bass, more vocal tracks, etc. etc.) and versions similar to this with minimal acoustic guitar tracks and one vocal track.

Song is "Wait for Me".

Man. Want my brutally honest opinion?

It's awesome! You fucking own.

How was it recorded? The acoustic guitar production is just beautiful crisp and clear, really nice...wonderful tone. Then the vocals...hmm, not as strong as that, cos they are just a little shaky and stuff, however that said they fit the style of music really well. The vocal production is so well done.

It's a very emotional song, I love it. Great work. :headbang:

You gotta git' yerself a full album.

My vocals are still pretty weak. I haven't done any real singing in 2 years until this. Also this is a higher range than usual for me. They'll be a little better by the time I'm complete.

And the guitars were stereo recorded using a Studio Projects C1 and B1 mic with a Studio Projects VTB1 pre on the C1 and an Audiobuddy pre on the B1. I also recorded another take with the B1 through the VTB1. Guitar is a Taylor 314 with medium Martin strings (which are not as nice sounding as the light Elixers which I will be doing final recording with, but they're pretty expensive so I don't use them all the time). The vocals are through the C1 and VTB1 with an RNC compressor.

Thanks much for the comments. Glad you like it. Once I'm done with this 6 song concept I plan to do a full length.
