Assuming you've heard the album, would you say the same about Vintersorg's Cosmic Genesis?

i really don't care if they don't have a real drummer...in my opinion Xy is a very creative guy for the keyboards and for the beats as well

I have Passage and Ceremony of Opposites and although I wasn't that big a fan of Samael I must admit they create interesting music and the drums don't sound bad (at least to me). I haven't heard eternal except for a couple of songs, so I can't comment on that, but programmed drumming isn't always bad in a band. There are examples where a very good job was done in the programming. And Xy is a great musician...
As for Cosmic Genesis I think that the drums are the least problem of that album...
