I don't know why that dude doesn't go by Richard or even Rick. Plus it's always that uber-hick announcer that says Dick Trickle about 500 times a minute (consequently that's as long as I can watch Nascar and yes I counted him saying Dick Trickle 500 TIMES).

I think because Trickle isn't in the top echelon of drivers he is an attention whore and probably has an entire line of merchandise for the necks.
