Well man i really cant answer that question , because i really don't know, but i can say they are extremist, also the old culture is very minimalistic a extremely interesting mix. Though they are trying to mimic Americans in their own way, Japanese see europe and america as some kind of wonderland, where everyone is blonde with blue eyes and everyone is like in a rock concert and having sex on the streets , they love the european look.
