he got ALS when he was REALLY young.... fuck man what a loss to the guitar community. LAst i heard Jason is still alive and doing ok, even doing better i think.

oh and PICK UP PERSPECTIVE!! the album he did after he got ALS... it is amazing.

oh and i never liked Air all that much, it's pretty good though the sweeps in altitudes is what got me started on the whole shred deal too!!! and *shameless plug* here is a video of me playing those arps...

5 years now, since i was 13. been trying to shred for about 2-3 years-ish. you start to figure things out a bit after sitting in your room for 6 hours a day playing for 7 months haha
