Sorry if this has already been posted...the video itself was posted back in Jan.

Saw this trailer yesterday and even though I've never listened to him properly (or any instrumental shred for that matter) I made a little donation because he's probably inspired some of the dudes that inspired me, he was an innovator and most people getting into shred at some point or another have probably tried learning one of his pieces.

This is such a sad story. I have talked to Jason a few times via email, and hes always in good spirits. He is a HUGE inspiration, while I am not into the "shred guitar" thing. I love his song composition. He is such a strong songwriter!

This 100 times over for me as well.....they both pushed me to go way beyond what I thought achievable on guitar for a long long time.
