Musicals are looking up, Pink Floyds The Wall is to go to Broadway!
One of the bands most important albums tells the story of anti-hero Pink who lives in a fantasy world.
The album has sold over 23 millions copies world wide and now Roger Waters who has the rights to the music is to compose the arrangements for the Broadway extravaganza.
However, former Sony Music boss Thomas Mottle has acquired the rights to develop the musical from Waters.
Harvey Weinstein, co-chairman of Marimba Films said: "I am thrilled to be involved with bringing 'The Wall' to Broadway and to give new generations the opportunity to see this legendary show."
