Jb7 + maxon content (opinions wanted)

hey all,

here's a new mix, ibanez 7 string, xxx, maxon, 57.

I tried really hard with the drums on this one, getting better but still not quite there :hotjump:

There's some nastyness in the low mids on the guitars because I missed it when tracking (heavy use of c4 but it was captured at the source )

I also now hear the snare conflicting with the hats and cymbals a bit frequency wise.

this must be the ultra high pitched clip. all the dogs in the neighborhood go nuts when i play this one, but i cant hear it. must be good.

I dig it. I getting into the marker for a new guitar and am looking at some 7 strings. I've had a Ibanez 7620 on many occasions and loved it. Though I never changed the pickups. I might look into the Duncan's seeing as I'm more of a "passive" guy

yeah I hated the jb to begin with, as I was so used to emg's...... now that I'm used to however and have my amp dialed in I think it's gold

definately worth checking out!
