JCM 900 + A/b box

Hey guys I'm a long time reader here but this is my first post.
I have a problem with my live gear and I was thinking that maybe if it was possible to use an A/B box to root the signal from my guitar to my gnx4 and then to my jcm900 fx return, the other channel I'd root the signal from the guitar through some stompbox and into the input of my amplifier.

Thank you for the fast answer, however I could only read it now due to the ammont of work from my university.
I'll also like to use this thread to ask you guys if this guitar (http://www.prsguitars.com/allender/index.php) is versitle for both clean and heavy recordings with the push/pull coil taps (single coil and humbucker switch from EMG).

Ps: The reason I'm asking is because there's no1 selling that guitar near my location so I can't make my own decision about it.
