Did anyone else pick this one up? Jeff is just a crazy player, but he has a sense for classic riffs too, hence the greatness of Nevermore (to my ear). I recommend this for anybody into instrumental stuff...

Funny that two of my favorite records that came out this year (thus far) are by members of Nevermore. They both stand well on their own, which proves well why they are such a good band...they are the sum of their great parts!

Thi album is not a total wanker shred fest, it sounds to me like Nevermore without the vox somewhat, although if you listen you'll hear alot of the other influences Jeff has in him. Great album- really diggin this one alot...gonna be on my top 15 most likely.
Still gotta hear Warrels solo tho, still dont have it.

Dane's album is damn good. It's outside of the box.

Zero Order Phase and Warrel Dane's Praise to the War Machine are both good albums. :kickass:

Haven't heard the Loomis album yet, but I thought Warrel Dane's was good -- in my top 10 for the year.

Lot's of people have made similar comments. To me it's not too far from a Nevermore record, but maybe that's just because I really identify them with Warrel's voice. Anyway, every song on it is great. I'd say it's a mix between Nevermore and A Perfect Circle's first album.

Playin this Loomis thing again right now....man this just keeps on sounding better with every listen!!
And thanks for the Dane info people....will get on that one soon.
