very little info so far...
aparently mikeSol. is deeply involved since he is one of the owners and designed it
there seems to be plans for a 100w head also....but there aren´t enough clips yet...
i´ll keep my eye out for this one, even if it´s made in china and hope it´s not like mr. bogner incursion with l6.
seen somewhere that they´ll be available in november

looks nice!!!
Do you think this baby gets loud enough for practicing and playing live?

20 watts is more than enough to render you deaf with the volume it's capable of. 20 watts is really not much quieter than a 50 watt amp.

Found this quick demo:

Wonder how that sounds.
Always wanted an SLO......but you know, price:lol:

If it's anything like my SLO copy, it will be a pretty sweet amp.

This is actually a smart move for Mike... His amps are kinda expensive, limiting his potential buyers.

If you get rid of the 'boutique' parts he uses in the SLO100, you make it a very cheap amp(think 5150 here). The real SLO has military grade sealed pots, expensive custom wound transformers, chassis mounted tubes, lots of hand wired leads, etc.... Using cheaper parts won't change the sound that much, so I'm guessing this amp is going to kick ass for cheap, so long as he didn't modify the circuit all that much(the real SLO gets it's character from the odd ball FX loop and EQ placement, which is where the 5150 differs from it)

the pcb's on facebook look great, pretty clean

The epiphone so cal was "designed" by mike soldano, but its one of the worst amps ever made, so don't go on the name. I like the pricing though :)
