I've built the SLO without the FX loop, and it's less of a tone changer than you think. The character of the SLO, in my opinion of course, mostly comes from the iron in it. Which is why Deyoung won't ever sell you a speced out transformer just like in the SLO.
The 5150 differs greatly from the 5150 in more ways than just the FX loop, take a look at the schematic.

if so for 299 euro I'd buy it. Looking for a simpler / cheaper and more reliable JCM800 type of thing to be coupled with my HM-2's and Keeley MT-2.

my guitarist tested one at the store a couple days ago....he said the jetcity 20 watt is amazing! and Very loud for 20 watts. Similar in loudness to the Orange of the same wattage. He also said the only downside to it was that it has only 1 channel.

Yeah but for recording at home, this thing would be perfect.
Anyone got some good metal clips with it yet?
