Although I have yet to listen to the Milk - Eyed Mender I have to say that Ys, the album they released last year in 2006 is one of the best albums that came out this year. Joanna Newsom REALLY knows how to play the harp masterfully and wonderfully. She has awesome vocals, great lyrics, and she doesn't look too painful in the eyes also. She looks like a celtic girl. Anyways even though this is a metal forum I am sure plenty have heard of her so discuss.

I've listened to both and have to say Ys is overrated. The music itself is enjoyable but her voice is horrendous. She literally sounds like Lisa Simpson, like some say, and even more so on the Milk-eyed Mender. But I'd agree that she is quite pretty. The elf-like appearance appeals to Sen.
