It is with extreme sorrow and heavy heart that we must report the tragic and untimely passing of Greg "Super-G" Marchak....our beloved friend, producer and engineer. Greg suffered an anyeurism on Thursday evening and never recovered.

This is a tragedy beyond words for all of us in JOP, his family and the many friends, bands, and musicians that had the privilege of knowing and working with such a wonderful human being.

Greg was not only an incredible person, but he was the funniest guy we knew. He made everyone laugh! The talent, experience and enthusiasm that he brought to the JOP CD's and live shows can never be duplicated. He was the glue that pulled the band and our sound together in the studio and on the road. They didn't call him Super-G for nothing! It is a loss without description. Greg was one of us and always will be!

We love you and miss you Greg. We know that you are now running the soundboard in the sky....

As a longtime Savatage fan and former diehard poster on the Savaboards, I am shocked and saddened by this news. Rest In Peace, dude. The entire SavaFamily is grieving your passing and celebrating your memory! Hail!
