I listened to the album as a whole for like the first time, as in continuously, twice a few days ago. Very solid piece and as I've said; fresh. New and old styles intertwine. Maybe a bit less progressive as the last few pieces but that's ok as elements like good singing, catchy choruses, folky atmosphere do the trick.

Ratings for each song as I think I recall) approximately:

Världsalltets Fanfar 4,5
Klippor Och Skär 5
Till Dånet Av Forsar Och Fall 4
Mörk Nebulosa 4,5
Stjärndyrkan 3,5
Skogen Sover 5
Vindögat 4
Palissader 4,5
Eld Och Lågor 3,5

That's about an average 4,3 out of 5. So maybe a 4,5 really... as AMG rated it :heh: ( not allmusicguide but Angrymetalguy).

Can't rate them individually, but I can rate them from best to not-so-good:

1. Mörk Nebulosa
2. Världsalltets Fanfar
3. Klippor Och Skär
4. Skogen Sover
5. Till Dånet Av Forsar Och Fall
6. Palissader
7. Vindögat
8. Eld Och Lågor
9. Stjärndyrkan

In reality, the first four are for me equally good - and then nr. 5-6 as well.

I'm gonna rate Ensiferum's 'Iron' instead, for the fuck of it and because I've been listening to it a lot these days.

1. Ferrum Aeternum 5
2. Iron 5
3. Sword Chant 4
4. Mourning Heart 4
5. Tale of Revenge 5
6. Lost in Despair 4.5
7. Slayer of Light 5
8. Into Battle 5
9. Lai Lai Hei 5
10. Tears 3

It's a strong 4.5. Carry on.:*

I'll simply copy this one, shall I? :p

Actually, I completely agree, except for one small point, and that would be changing places of Skogen and Till Dånet.
Skogen has an amazing chorus, but I think Till Dånet is overall the better of the two.

on the scale of 1-5 i would say for now:

Världsalltets Fanfar - 4
Klippor Och Skär - 2
Till Dånet Av Forsar Och Fall - 5
Mörk Nebulosa - 5
Stjärndyrkan - 3
Skogen Sover - 4
Vindögat - 4
Palissader - 4
Eld Och Lågor - 5
i guess it's still pretty much the same for me, after maybe only 3 or 4 spins :oops:

Mine:

Världsalltets Fanfar 5
Klippor Och Skär 5
Till Dånet Av Forsar Och Fall 4.5
Mörk Nebulosa 5
Stjärndyrkan 4.5
Skogen Sover 5
Vindögat 5
Palissader 6/5
Eld Och Lågor 4

 as you can probably tell, it's my favourite record of the year.

@Djöfull: Note that you use a period for decimals in English; the comma is used for thousands.

Till dånet is decent but the chorus isn't that great and it gets a bit tiring in the end.

Aw I really like that song! I've had the chorus stuck in my head for days....

I'll have to wait to rate this album. It still requires more time to soak in for me.

Vocals - OK
Guitars kit - OK
10% Keyboards kit - OK
90% Keyboards kit - Sounds like a low-budget horror titled 'Death Walks Behind You'... In sum, nothing new in the genre.

Scale:
[0 - useless]
[1 - useful]
[? - hard to say]

Does anybody know why the hell I hear "Antikrist" [Dimmu Borgir] in "Till dånet av forsar och fall"...?

For me, it's nothing new. Everytime when I'm listening to "Curtains" [Focusing Blur] I hear Rage Against The Machine. Fucked up head.

just got it a couple of days ago
hadn't had enough listens to it yet but Mörk Nebulosa is clearly my favorite in this album

I need some more listening to connect to the stuff but i like it...this one is more upbeat comparing to SR and sounds a bit like vintersorg meets a bit of the spiral generetor stuff and a bit of some classic 70's eurovision vibe (which is good because back then eurovision songs were actually quite good).
