What do you like about it? I'm using 57s, b57s, and d1s mostly now but still haven't really found what I'm after. I want a more upfront crack with tons of beef. I'm hopeing the e22 might capture the transient better.

I have a pair of e22S mics. I mainly use them as overheads and on acoustic gtr but have never tried them on snare. It's a great utility mic.
