November 12th....saturday with Thin Lizzy and Black Label Society. At the Venue at Horseshoe casino. I know Jason and I are going to get getting rich gambling during BLS!!!! who else is in?

Lee, once again, you show, the first beer is on me!!!!!!

Yeah, Saturday, a couple weeks BEFORE Thanksgiving, should hopefully be able to make it!

I am a big fan of Casinos, which makes this a MAJOR plus.

My wife saw NKOTB there a couple years back. The room is VERY small from what I hear.

Furthermore, I STRONGLY recommend you all check out THIN LIZZY fronted by Warwick. He does an AMAZING job.

Here is a clip from the VIC show in April:

I never knew you were planning on moving Amber.....

Yeah, I am not a BLS / Zakk fan neither.

The one time I saw BLS (@ Ozzfest 2005), I could only stomach 2 songs until I had to get up and leave. That is one band I seriously can not understand how anyone likes. The whole set seems like one boring-ass guitar solo. Ah well, to each their own.

The whole Casino aspect is a major draw for me too. Should be unique indeed.

I suppose I'm in the minority here in terms of liking BLS. Different strokes, for different folks I suppose. I will admit though that when they're a warm up act, their performance isn't all that great compared to their headlining, which i've always found odd.

Anywhoo, not so suprisingly, I will definitely be there considering it is Priest. I also am excited to see Thin Lizzy as while I like them, I don't know if I would've shelled out money to see them in their current configuration but as a warm up I will.

Simon, you know how critical I am.....
If you even remotely like Thin Lizzy, you will dig the current configuration.

What I wonder is if Viv will be back in the band by then, or will they still have the (supposed) Guns N Roses guitarist.

Yep. Gettin' the fook outta' dodge before next winter.

There are a lot of shows that come through the Tampa area as well as Orlando, but no where near as many as Chicago, so that will be the one thing I'll miss....as well as all ya'll crazy Mofo's. Ha!

Yeah, what is it, the BRASS MUG, in Tampa, that gets a lot of gigs????
Are you moving with Mike?
Will there be a STREETS reunion???????

Hmmm....not sure about the Brass Mug. Mike used to live down there before he moved up here almost 3 yrs ago, so he would know better than I would. But yeah, I'm assuming we will settle in the Clearwater area somewhere.
I saw JOP at a place called Bourbon St in New Port Richey, but I heard that place closed. It seems all the bigger bands play at the St Pete Times Forum.
A Streets reunion would be awesome wouldn't it? Ha! But I can't comment...I have no idea.

Yeah, I couldn't find anything on this. The latest info I found just said that Viv's last show will be in Ireland this Saturday...then he returns to Def Leppard. I guess he gets more chicks playing with Def Leppard. Ha!

Thin Lizzy Replace Vivian Campbell mdome / News / 04/04/2011 10:24am
Thin Lizzy are about to lose guitarist Vivian Campbell, but have already got a replacement lined up.

Campbell will return to Def Leppard activity after :Lizzy play Slaine Castle in Ireland on May 28. And Guns N’ Roses guitarist Richard Fortus will take over. He’ll be with the band when they play the High Voltage Festival.

Yeah, at the Vic, they had Fortus come up to do a couple songs.
I think it may have been the last night of that leg of the tour.
I had read that Viv was going back to Def Lep for the summer tour with Heart or whoever. Though I can't recall if they stated he is definitely coming back or if the door was always open, sort of thing........

I am not a huge Viv fan, and find him to be a jerk given how ungrateful he has been to DIO over the years, but he did a great job with TL when I saw them.

Alright friends....
Looks like some cities have already gone on sale.

Just checked and it looks like tickets go on sale this weekend. After service fees, it will be about $80 / ticket.

Who is in? Anyone up for getting tickets together?

Bob's buying!!! Thanks man. Sometimes, you really are a stand up guy.
