In their Roundup section, they ask musicians quick l'il questions. This month's is "Favorite Superhero". Michael Romeo appearently likes Batman. Just thought that was a cool little tidbit. If this is considered spam, feel free to axe it, ye moderators.

Go Romeo, Batman may not have the superpowers, but he's the most awesome superhero out there, with the possible exception of Punisher, if that even counts.

Batman represents the best a normal human being can achieve in body and mind. So it's appropriate for the greatest guitarist/musician alive to live up to those standards.

Also, I saw another one of his replies in last month's Metal Edge. Apparently, his favorite breakfast cereal is Lucky Charms. Is that how he comes up with those riffs???

Maybe his favorite cereal changes when he's writing different songs. For instance, when he's in a neo-classical mood, maybe he like Count Chocula or Frankenberry cereal. When he's in a straight ahead metal mood he likes Captain Crunch (he may also have been eating this when he wrote the Odyssey, you know, with it's nautical theme). If he's in a ballady mood he would have to be eating Blueberry Morning.

He must have been writing "Incantations of the Apprentice" when they asked him this question for the interview. Those lucky Charms are magically delicious!

If I recall in one of the last issues I received from Metal Edge (I cancelled, man what a bad mag these days...) but I think he was in another Round Up early in the year.
