I saw them in 93 I think, and it was killer right time, right place. Now I didnt expected too much (they played last year in a fest, I wasnt there, but everybody told that that wasnt a good show), bit I was curious. And yes, theyre old and ugly and I hope somebody will steal and burn Astburys purple sweatshirt, but some old songs made me shiver. And it was really complicated to dance with my heavy backpack, hehe. Billy Duffy looks like a lovechild of Brian Adams and Dolph Lundgren but he was okay with his minimalist solos.
But. Tempesta was metal!
Astburys voice wasnt perfect, he lost his range of voice somewhere in the mid nineties, but there wasnt any big problem with the vocals.
It was a nice evening (and tooooo hot), but last years Billy Idol show was much better for me.
The sound was okay, not too loud, not too low, and every instrument was clear.
