I'm listening to Neverworld as I type, the track Sacred Land to be precise. This may have been asked before, but i'll ask anyway. Was the lyric 'never walk alone' inspired by Steve W's love of Liverpool FC? Or maybe it was just coincidence.

I always interpreted the chorus as a religious reference -
"Time will tell if we understand that we never walk alone"..
That's always what springs to my mind when I hear the chorus, I guess that's just the lyrical genius that is Steve Har..., woops, Williams

I've always interpretted that in context of companionship/comradery/togetherness. The whole song is full of "we", "us", "our", "together".
It's my second fave PQ song of all time, hence that bit of fan art I did with those lyrics!
