Nice song,mix sounds dry,over compressed for my ears.I hear somewhere clean guitar but it's somewhere in the distance.Lead guitar also should be upfront of mix and also it's little bit of tempo,lead guitar, not always but it's "chasing" groove of the song.Butt it's just my opinion.

Do you mean the whole mix is overcompressed?

About the low mids: do you mean the lead guitar or the rhythm guitars?
