Just finished Life of Pi.

Honestly, eight years later I only remember reading a mildly interesting adventure tale that became much better toward the end. So in that case I'm glad I blocked out all the god poop! I now vaguely remember some religious bits in the beginning and end that I likely glossed over as bullshit, as would be my general habit really. I'm a passive atheist at best.

EDIT: Maybe I should watch the movie and enjoy all the religious propaganda that I missed/forgot/ignored from the book. :loco:

watch the movie and come back with your thoughts if you like

but don't say i didn't warn you, it was pretty ughhhh

It's distinctly possible that my wife will rent this, we will watch it, I will reflexively state "the book was better," and then hopefully neither one of us will come out the other side as a Christian.
