Just got Cubase Studio 4, problems already

Hi folks!
Just got Cubase Studio 4 and installed it on my mac.
I've also installed some plug-ins and vst instruments, but I cant get Cubase to accnowledge them.

What am I doing wrong? Any hints?

make sure they are showing up in the vst folders, if they arent then find in program files the folder for each plug in and drag and drop them into that vst folder.

i'm sure that you can set the dirs where to look for vst, but i can't find it now... anyway, by default it checks on these 2 .../steinberg/vstplugins and .../steinberg/cubase sx/vstplugins

It's most probably Steinbergs fault not yours.
AFAIK C4 is incompatible with many not so new plugins.

ive redirected all the folders correctly but I still dont get any data when updating...

C4 puts all non- vst3 (every VST plugin, except new steiny ones) into the "Older vst plugins menu" that may be why you are not seeing them..
