Just listened to Unicorn - Emotional Wasteland for the 1,000th time today!

... and once again thought it's one of the best things ever recorded! I remember sending Dan a bunch of CDRs and him burning me the 2 Unicorn discs way back and thinking how cool he is. Then I was lucky and found both discs on The Laser's Edge for only 9 bucks.

I know the earlier you go, the better Dan likes the Unicorn stuff. I never heard the demos or anything, but I still think Emotional Wasteland is such a beautiful disc. I guess I like it better than Ever Since. They're both godly though.

Dan has become my hero! I so look forward to his Second Sky. I wonder what's the current news on it though. Maybe Dan will read this and tell us a bit of his progress.

Sorry this thread sort of has no point. It's just... I love the way this guy expresses himself. Thanks, Dan!

I'll poke Dan to give you an update, but I can tell you that Edwin was here not too long ago and they did some demoing... and at one point I had to ask if they were, by any chance, were covering a Chicago track

Oh yes, and Second Sky update would rule! Edwin is Peter Edwinzon, right? He's a really good musician I think. After watching the "Icarus" live gig, I hope he has a new haircut these days, because the old cut was something for "Haircrimes"

I really enjoy Unicorn. End of the bridge and Sorrow song are my favourite songs. Still waiting for ever since, i think its being sent from Italy to Australia via sae sponge. But hell its worth it.
Still like shocking people when i tell them that Dan also growls, he's won over alot of fans where i live through both this and Nightingale.
Now all we need is a tour
