Just modded my TS7 and...

Amp is 6505+ thought 2x12 cab and a single ADK S-7.

Yes it's warmer and fuller...it's more reactive when there are palm mutes. With the unmodded ts7 the palmutes and the rest were constantly covered by a sibilance that now is disappeared.

808 mod...just changed 2 resistors in the output stage

I should get around to modding my Boss SD-1 to 808 specs soon.

It's a very easy mod but also delicate. The solders are really really thin and you have to be very carefull and use a very thin iron.

Yeah, I don't even know how to use a soldering iron
If I got a mod kit, I'd just take my pedal and the kit to a guy I know that's a whiz with electronics, guitar amps and stuff.

I did this to my TS7, totally worth it.
some TS9s even don't have the 4558 chip, in that case you should change that as well (on top of the 2 Rs). makes it even better
