Ok, finally, as promised, here is a teaser audio demo of one of the newest snares:

Snare11 is an ultra deep, ultra fat, huge sounding snare that will add instant bigness and width to your drums. Here it is along with one of Mike Shipley's favorite kicks from the current V1 collection, Kick2. I also mixed in Birch Toms with the original toms. This audio demo will show the original kick, snare, and toms sounds as well:

and for comparison, here is the same drum loop, again with kick2, but now with Snare3 from the current collection:

I got my Slate samples yesterday, and aside from the difficult decision of which samples I wanted to use (because all of them are 100% kickass and totally useful), it only took about 10 minutes to get the best-sounding drum bus I've had yet. :kickass:

if i order the cd , i will get those NEW samples also in ther same cd? :goggly:
 
few things: first off, re download the example because I just remixed it, but this time I triggered the GHOST notes as well so it sounds more natural:

next, if you order the current disc, you will get that huge ass kick (its kick2). You will also get snare11... but not on that disc, it will be mailed to your shortly along with a bunch of other new sounds, as well as sampler mappings for Reason, Halion, Battery, Kontakt, Giga, and EXS. We're also working on having a proprietary sampler that will ship with the hits as well, ala DFHS.

last... some guys will trigger cymbals.. I can't. I never find it to sound anything other then akward. BUT, we'll have cymbals gogs for those who can use them, so no worries there.

Glad you guys like Snare11, more big fatties comin up soon as well, including a new METAL kick, the cousin of kick5.
