Just saw Meshuggah... fuuuu

Hang on, if you got there at 8pm Ermz, you would have missed Whitechapel entirely cos they left the stage at about 7:20ish and would have seen It Dies Today who were rocking 6 strings, not 7 strings as Whitechapel were.
Whitechapel is A LOT better than It Dies Today, at least IMHO anyway.
And man, when Meshug played Bleed, I went nuts and nearly fell over from dizzyness from headbanging
Agreed, not a bad song in that set list.
Definitely worth the money to see 'em live

My bad, would've been It Dies Today that I saw. I guess all those acts seem somewhat interchangeable to me, though feel free to take whatever I said in this thread about Whitechapel and apply it to It Dies Today instead.

Same here, the play good live and all but it I get bored with the music after 30 minutes

Exactly.
It got very repetitive somehow. ;X

Cant say that they didnt play good as hell though, they are definitely in the top 5 of the tightest bands ive heard live.

Seen em twice in the last years, and they killed it both times. One time I was playing at the same festival so I got backstage passes and sat next to the stage and watched Haake rip it up for most of the show. Second time was at Metaltown this summer, and I nearly twisted my neck when the breakdown riff to Future Breed Machine started.

Ive worked with the dudes a few times... so I can only say great things.

Amazing band. Amazing crew. Amazing presence. Amazingly tight. They're just fucking awesome.

lol

I didn't see them this tour but I saw them in October 2008 and I can say that my experiences are similar to what you guys are talking about. The sound was incredible and they were absolutely flawless.

I wish I had seen Lethargica. :( I did get Humiliative though which is something I thought I'd never see.

I saw Meshuggah, Cynic, and The Faceless a while back. I'm going to have to say that Cynic owned EVERYONE there. I also got bored of Meshuggah. I think I'd rather listen on CD.
