You know what man i really have not done any a/b comparisons with regular sm57 and my modded one. I also have a uridyne 57 which is the real old sm57 and is also supposed to sound different. Maybe I will have our singer try all 3 Mic's and see how they all differ on his voice. Most of the time when I'm tracking I'm in a basement that is unfinished and no room treatment and I'm using computer speakers for tracking so i can't tell shit minor differences. I really should get some nice headphones or something for tracking and setting up drums and guitar.
