Does anyone really know how these things work? i saw some pictures of a Eric Hoffman and old Dave Mustaine guitars and they have a Kahler bridge, but no springs in the back. if someone could explain to me how they work, id greatly appreciate it. thanks

lol uhhh thats ONE part of it

the unit is all self contained...the guitar is dowled out for the tremelo unit, the springs are located in the back, and the springs are connected to a block on the end, which is then connected to a cam shaft, and then the roller saddles, which provide for intonation, blah blah come after that...just do a search for kahler..its too long to explain..but trust me, roller saddles are NOT how it works...

there is a trem version, which King, Hanneman, Hoffman, and many others use...very well..

Then there is a non trem version, which is excellent...mustaine used these, and on some of his tour guitars, he had the trem kahler...
