I've never played a scalloped fretboard. What does that do to its playability? On the eBay page, he said it's unbelievably effortless to play. Can some of you confirm this?

#1 if you have never played a scalloped board then it will take some getting used to. If you have more then a LIGHT touch on the fingerboard you will make it go out of tune constantly. If you need to work on your touch and learn to lighten up how are you press on the strings then I highly recommend playing a scalloped board for a few months.
