Excellent news for italian fans: Katatonia will be performing at the "DARK FEST" which is held in Bologna, Italy, 24th february 2008.
The line up features 10 bands from 10 different european countries.
Here's the running order:

Weltenbrand (Liecthtenstein)
Lycosia (Francia)

Tickets will go on sale soon...I think it will be a really special event
 
So, finally a new year with Katatonia is about to start, all the rest is nonsense :)
This is the first show in 2008!!! glad thei're back

i'm really excited!
I think I'll move on saturday to pass a relaxing weekend near Bologna, and come back on monday morning to work here in Rome
 
Yeah, indeed Bologna is a very nice city. I'd like to do the same, but the night before I've got the concert of that animal of ALEC EMPIRE here in Florence, so I think I'll be there only in the early afternoon, right for the beginning of the opening act.
I was thinking that would be cool if Katatonia could play a different set-list than the last one of the Summer Breeze and would really like they played some beautiful songs such as those on the last singles, 'Displaced', 'Dissolving bonds' or 'Unfurl'... they did the same with some old single from the 'L.F.D.G.D.' record... but I'm confident they won't do the same. Shall see on Sunday nite.

"dissolving bonds" shall be there, no way!
Hope to hear also some more stuff from discouraged, we will see
 
A friend of mine won the 'Meet and greet' contest... lucky him :cry:!
When I think about my Katatonia's collection of cd and various stuff, I don't remember who signed me one thing, who signed another... it's too much stuff o_O It started about 12 years ago and it still goes :headbang:

Follower :O interesting.
It stresses me that they don't play Dissolving Bonds everywhere though.
 
yeah, kinda strange. However, the audience reception was very good, better than 2 years ago in Treviso (italy).
Oh, I forgot to say that Daniel was not in the gig . Jonas said that he was becoming father for the second time.
Daniel was substituted by ....sorry, I can't remember his name, but was very good
