The roflcopter has landed, I just wrote back. Remember, don't expect anything amazing without using impulses. Amplitube on its own is pretty good, especially for jamming and learning songs, but impulses take it to a level where I've gotten it to rival miked amp tones.

Once I finish moving, I will post some clips for you guys all to hear. Sorry for the lag factor, I just have no time right now to work on music until I complete my move.

Hi Kazrog,

I am also using Amplitube and have tried to get a good tone with impulses but failed miserably so went back to the native cabs & mikes.
Any info: settings, clips etc. you share would be massively appreciated!
